Can I use my frequent flyer points to book my extra guests?
Once you have your confirmed flight details, you can use your frequent flyer points to book your extra guest(s) on the same flight.
What is my baggage allowance?
Please check your airline’s website for details on baggage allowance, restricted items etc. Please keep your receipt for reimbursement for your 1st checked bag per qualifier per direction and guest if it is not included with your flight. Please submit your baggage receipts to Melinda Wingerak at melinda_wingerak@cooperators.ca by May 1st, 2020.
How do I get to the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego?
After collecting your luggage, please look for our designated travel staff carrying Western Region Builders signs who will escort you to your vehicle, on program dates only. Transfer time to the hotel is approximately 20-minutes. Round-trip airport transfers will be arranged for qualifiers and their guest on core dates.
If you are not travelling on core program dates, please follow the signs for ground transportation. Taxi’s are readily available and cost approximately $20 USD to get from the airport to the hotel. Alternatively, if you would like assistance arranging a private transfer, please contact registration@lorandus.com.
Why is my employee / advisor number required for registration?
The Co-operators agency department has requested you provide your advisor or employee number to facilitate the proper allocation of taxable benefits. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact your HR department directly.
What does my hotel room have?
Each Guest Room has either 1 King Bed or 2 Queens.

- Bathrooms are equipped with full-length mirrors and ceiling-mounted Hansgrohe rain showers.

How many people can stay in a room?
A King room can accommodate up to 2 guests. Queen bedded rooms can accommodate up to 4 guests.
How much is the rate to extend my stay?
The rate to extend your stay is $249 USD per room per night with single or double occupancy plus applicable taxes* and a $25 per day All Access Pass charge.This rate is guaranteed three nights before and after the program dates of March 28 – April 1, 2020, subject to availability.
*Current state and local taxes are 10.5% plus a 2% occupancy tax, and a State Tourism Fee of $0.40 per night.
Flights may also be extended and are based on availability. The qualifier and guest will be responsible for any difference in fare.
What does the $25 per day All Access Pass include?
The All Access Pass includes the following:

- In-room Local and Long Distance calls
- Unlimited entry to our 24/7 fitness center
- Complimentary use of the Business Center

How do I pay to extend my hotel stay?
Any reservations for additional guests or extensions will be arranged through Lorandus. Payment should be made directly to the Hard Rock upon your check-out. Additional charges for flights will be paid directly to Lorandus Travel Department.
Can extra guests attend events?
Only the qualifier and their one guest are permitted to attend group events.
Can I upgrade my room?
If you are interested in upgrading your room, please contact Debbie at Lorandus for pricing and availability.
Is there a fitness center on property?
Yes – the Hard Rock has a full fitness center that is open 24 hours a day. It includes an array of cardio equipment and weights so you can carry out your fitness routine while away.
Is there a Spa at the hotel?
No, there is not a spa at the Hard Rock Hotel, San Diego.

Check-in is 4:00 pm
